Autogenic Training
Autogenic Training (AT) is a relaxation method that uses short, calming phrases to help your body and mind relax and slow down. With practice, it can make stress easier to handle and help you feel more balanced and confident in your caring role.
AT is learned step by step, adding one new phrase per session. It is highly recommended to practice for 3 to 20 minutes daily. Over time, you can develop it into a simple tool that you can use whenever you need calm.

AT is helpful for everyone, please reach out if you do not have a relative living with dementia, yet wish to learn the technique.
Autogenic Training may not be suitable if you have a history of serious mental health conditions (e.g. psychosis, trauma, epilepsy) or physical injuries. Please speak with your specialist before booking.
