Time To Shine
Group CST-inspired Programme
Celebrating Strengths, Connection, and Wellbeing

Enjoy meaningful time together, keep the brain active, and build practical ideas you can use at home. CST, or Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, is a structured, evidence-based activity programme for people living with dementia. It supports thinking, conversation, confidence, and wellbeing in a safe and enjoyable space.

This programme is for people living with dementia and their care partners. It offers a chance to try new, fun activities together while staying mentally active. The programme runs over 7 weeks, with a one-week break in between, and sessions will take place once or twice a week depending on your choice.

During the meetings, you can expect laughter, good conversations, and games you can use at home for everyday enjoyment or moments of boredom or distress. Activities may include movement-based games, word games, quizzes, music, conversation, creative activities, and more.

Together, we will explore what works well and build a personalised toolkit of ideas you can return to whenever you need them most. This is a safe and supportive space to discover what feels helpful and enjoyable.

Places are limited, so make sure to book your place today!

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can participate?

The programme is open to all participants. Activities will be adapted to ensure everyone's participation. Where needed, we will divide into pairs to ensure everyone can enjoy the proposed activities.

Can someone participate on their own?

While the programme is meant for two people to participate, participants are welcome to join alone, either for one session or for the entire programme.

This must, however, have been discussed with Florence in advance.

Contact Florence before booking to ensure solo participation is suitable.

What activities can I expect?

Activities will depend on the group, their preferences and individual goals.

You can expect to have music, different games, arts & crafts, and conversations.

For each session, there will be different options to choose from, ensuring participants enjoy the moment.

If there is an activity you would like to try, please let me know so we can make it happen!

Who is considered a teammate?

The programme is designed to support the participation of the participant living with dementia together with a teammate, unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance.

A teammate may be a family member, friend, neighbour, companion, or another suitable adult chosen by the participant living with dementia or the person making the booking.

The teammate does not need to be a professional care partner or the participant's main care partner.

I'm not the primary care partner, can I still participate?

Absolutely!

This is the perfect opportunity for family members and friends to spend quality time with their loved one while the primary care partner gets some me-time.

What if I need to cancel my participation to the entire program?

If you cancel more than 24 hours before the programme starts, you will receive a refund of all fees paid, except for any payment processing fees. This is because payment processing fees are included in the booking price, yet are not refunded by the payment platform.

If you cancel within 24 hours of the programme start time, or after the programme has started, any refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

What if I miss a session?

If you have booked the 14-session option, missed individual sessions cannot usually be rescheduled. No refund will be given for unattended sessions.

If you have booked the 7-session option, you may request to reschedule a missed session within 1 week of the missed session, subject to availability.

What if Florence cancels a session?

If I need to cancel a session, I will offer a replacement date where possible. If a replacement session cannot be arranged, or the replacement date is not suitable, you will be offered a refund based on the pro-rated price of that session.

Does the teammate have to be the same person every time?

No, they do not have to be the same person every time. Different teammates may attend different sessions.
