Adapting to Changes in the Visual Perception

Published on 20 October 2025 at 09:25

Why join the workshop?

Did you know that dementia can change the way a person sees the world?
These changes can affect how your loved one perceives their surroundings. This can impact how they interact and respond to their environment and the people around them.

What to expect

During this two-hour workshop, I aim to provide you with real-life and practical strategies you can use with your loved one. Understanding how brain change can affect a person's vision allows you to create an environment that promotes your loved one's independence and gives you more peace of mind.

Together, we’ll cover:

  • Common changes in the visual field and contrast perception

  • Step-by-step support in daily care situations

  • Open discussion and time for your questions

  • Key elements to look out for when adapting the environment

  • Open discussion and time for your questions

The goal

These two sessions are designed to empower you with practical ideas and insights, helping you and your loved one feel more confident and connected in daily life.

If you have any questions or would like to reserve your spot, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — I’d love to hear from you.
